Fire Safety
Factotum can help you design, install and maintain fire alarm and smoke ventilation systems that conform to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 – the legislation governing fire safety in commercial buildings – and the UK’s core fire safety standard, BS 5839-1. Our accredited engineers can then be instructed to visit your premises at regular intervals, as part of an ongoing maintenance plan, to check all components are working correctly.

Factotum has been fitting, repairing and maintaining gasworks in commercial spaces for many years. We can undertake jobs of all sizes; you’ll often find our engineers adding new pipework to new builds, moving components to accommodate new design requirements, and testing gas equipment to ensure it meets current standards, including BS 6891:2015.
